New Passport

Since my old passport expires in less than a year, I applied for a new one. I have to give kudos to the State Department. I had a new passport in my hands exactly two weeks after dropping my renewal application in the mail. Although I do have one complaint, the new passport is ridiculosly patriotic. Here is an example of what it looks like:

Every page has some patriotic artwork, be it Mt Rushmore, the Statue of Liberty, buffalos on a prarie, or outer space. I'm sure the Customs agents will be impressed. Seriously, I don't know of any other country's passport that looks like this.
