Saw this sign in Independence, MO with an anthropomorphic pig roasting the ribs of what is presumably a fellow pig over an open fire. I guess advertising using animals that produce a restaurant's featured meats is nothing new, but for some reason, this one bothered me. You can't really tell from this picture, but that pig is really licking his chops and looking excited about those ribs.

What does "anthropomorphic" mean?
Anthropomorphic is a fancy word for portraying animals with human characteristics in art. I'm trying to expand my vocabulary for the GRE.
